AN Oxfordshire Wetherspoons will be among the first pubs to open in the UK when Boris Johnson gives the green-light to lift lockdown measures.
The Narrows in Abingdon High Street will reopen with screens between tables that are at least two metres apart from each other.
There will also be shields at the tills and 10 hand sanitiser dispensers around the pub – like at the entrance and exit which will be separated.
Customers will be asked to pay using the app and condiments such as ketchup will be on the tables in sachets instead of a normal bottle.

Staff will be handing over drinks touching only the bottom of the glass and food will be put on the table on a tray.
Every day the employees will have their temperature taken and will have to complete a form saying they are fit to work.
Sarah Lowe, manager at The Narrows, said: “At present the government have not confirmed any reopening date for pubs.
“However, it is important that we are prepared for any announcement.
“We have spent a number of weeks consulting with staff who work in our pubs, as well as area managers in order to draw up our plans.
“The safety of staff and customers is paramount.”
