A MAN has reported his own kidnapping to police after saying he was forced into a vehicle in Headington.
A resident got in touch with The Oxford Mail today to say officers were going door to door to appeal for information.
Thames Valley Police confirmed it was investigating the incident, believed to have taken place in Holyoake Road at about 3pm on Wednesday.
The victim was dropped off by the same offenders the following day, when he called police.
He was not injured during the incident.

A police spokesman said: "A thorough investigation is being conducted.
"We are liaising with and supporting the victim, conducting house to house enquiries, and trawling CCTV."
