A GOOD Samaritan suffered a fractured skull after coming to the aid of a teenager being attacked in Didcot.
A 17-year-old was hit in the face with a bottle outside the Co-op in Lostock Place at about 11pm on Friday.
When a man, aged 35, came to help he was also hit on the head.
Det Sgt Alan Clements said: "The man was left hospitalised with a fractured skull and the teenager suffered nasty cuts to his face."
Police have made two arrests, charging one man.
They are investigating how many people were involved. Anyone who witnessed this incident is urged to get in touch with the police.

Dean Lissenden, 22, of Kynaston Road, Didcot appeared at Didcot Magistrates' Court today with wounding with intent and actual bodily harm and was remanded until Monday.
