CLAIMS a runner was pushed by a man in Headington who then tried to kick him have been dismissed by police.
Thames Valley Police said today it has concluded 'no offences took place' following its investigation into the assault reported to have happened on April 12 at around 4.30pm on Old Road.
An image of a man was released to 'assist' police in the investigation.

An update from the force said: "The man in the image has now come forward and our investigation has concluded that no offences took place.
"No arrests have been made and no one has been charged in relation to this matter.
"Our appeal for witnesses is no longer active."
