A VILLAGE Midcounties Co-op was targeted by ram raiders last night who tried to make off with the shop's ATM.
Pictures sent to the Oxford Mail show a police cordon in place and the front of the Bletchingdon store, near Kidlington, destroyed.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed the shop was hit by a group of approximately six men in up to three vehicles and is appealing for information.

A police spokesman said the force received 'numerous calls' from members of the public at approximately 12.35am reporting a break in at the Co-operative store in Station Road, Bletchingdon.
The incident involved up to three vehicles, including a dark 4x4 vehicle.
Up to six people are believed to have been involved.
The cashine machine and all the cash was recovered but no arrests have been made.
The spokesman said: "We are appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident, or who has any information that can assist the investigation to call 101, quoting reference number 43200137972 or make a report via our online reporting form on the TVP website.
"We would particularly ask anybody who may have been in the area and has dash-cam or CCTV to please check your footage and get in touch if this has captured anything that can help the investigation."
He added police were still in the 'very early stages' of the investigation and there is currently a scene-watch in place at the scene and this will remain while investigations continue.
