A CHARITY has announced a competition it will run for Dementia Action Week, which begins on Monday.

Dementia Oxfordshire has launched a sunflower competition, where the public can plant seeds and then send in photos of the flower as it grows.

A selection of the best pictures will feature on the website, whilst there will be a prize and certificate for the largest sunflower.

The charity is also distributing sunflower posters to be displayed in windows and add 'a little more sunshine to those rainbows'.
