A 17-year-old youth was found in a Witney car park with facial injuries following a fight.
The teenager was found by police in the car park of the Langdale Hall at about 2am on Saturday.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he was treated at accident and emergency and discharged later that day.
PC Andy Ball, of Witney police, said: "We believe this lad sustained his injuries as a result of a fight between two groups of youths in the car park shortly before he was found.
"We would like to appeal to any members of the public who witnessed an incident near Langdale Hall on Saturday to come forward. We would be very interested in hearing about what they saw."
