EVERYBODY’S favourite ogre was in Oxford in November 2014, and he even managed to pay a visit to Oxford Castle.
The musical version of the fairytale film Shrek came to Oxford and stars of the cast posed with visitors at the castle.
Dean Chisnall, who played Shrek for the show, said: “It is a beautiful city and we’re really happy to be here.”
He was joined at the castle by Idriss Kargbo (Donkey), Faye Brooks (Princess Fiona), and Gerard Carey (Lord Farquaad).
The show ran at the New Theatre until November 23.
