JACK CHARLES KENT, 23, of Heath Close, Kent, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on December 14, 21 and January 4. He was fined £360 and must pay court costs of £60.
ALEX MOORE, 20, of Orchard Way, Wantage, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend group sessions on November 13 and December 9 and failing to attend an appointment on December 17. He was fined £80 and must pay court costs of £60.
Shannon Bryan PRICE, 30, Pontefract Road, Bicester, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend initial appointments on October 3 and 15 and failing to provide evidence. He was fined £80.
ALEX WOODHAM, 19, of Stone Hill Walk, Abingdon, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work induction on December 17 and failing to maintain contact with the National Probation Service. His order was varied to include 10 additional unpaid works, totalling 50 hours and he must pay court cost of £60.
STEPHEN HAMER, 45, of Heron Road, Benson, was convicted of speeding by driving 51mph in a 30mph zone and using a vehicle without third party insurance and failing to stop for a constable on January 3 in Marlow, Berkshire. He was fined a total of £1,540 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
ALTIN KADIU, 30, of Redmoor Close, Oxford, was convicted of driving without a licence and without third party insurance on December 20 in Abingdon. He was fined a total of £880 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
Warwick JAMES TOMPKINS, 31, of Hill Close, Chipping Norton, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on August 17 in Chipping Norton. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
TOMMY JOE TRINDER, 22, of Curbridge Road, Ducklington, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance and without a valid road test certificate or a licence on December 10 in Curbridge. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
TYREESE ADEDAYO, 24, of no fixed abode, admitted possession of a quantity of herbal cannabis on March 22 in Oxford. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.
COURTNEY ERSKINE, 26, of Longlands Road, Oxford, admitted possession of two deal bags of cocaine on August 3 in Oxford as well as using a vehicle without third party insurance and failing to stop for a constable. He was fined a total of £375 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for a total of six months due to repeat offending.
RICK LUDEKE, 33, of no fixed abode, admitted damaging a Volkswagen polo costing £600 on June 20 in Witney. He was ordered to pay compensation of £320 as well as court costs of £85.
HAYLEY DAWN COX, 37, of Burchester Avenue, Oxford, admitted stealing straighteners costing £60 from Boots on Cornmarket Street on November 14. She was ordered to pay compensation of £60 as well as £85 in court costs.
CONNOR FARLEY, 22, of Main Road, Middleton Cheney, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a Class B drug, in Banbury on November 11 as well as producing a quantity of cannabis and two plants of cannabis. He was given a conditional discharge for 24 months but must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 in court costs. He must also forfeit the cannabis and two cannabis plants to be destroyed.
OLIVER PAUL SUMMERS, 38, of Knollys Close, Abingdon, admitted using threatening, abusive and insulting words and behaviour towards a man on November 15 in Abingdon as well as breaching a suspended sentence made by Swindon Magistrates’ Court on September 26 for the offences of assault by beating and threatening to cause damage to a property. He was ordered to pay £100 of compensation as well as £85 in court courts. His suspended sentence was changed to 12 weeks in prison suspended for 24 months. In the 24 months he must take part in a rehabilitation activity with an officer for at least 25 days. The suspended sentence was not activated because ‘it was not in the interests of justice to do so and would have an adverse effect on the defendants’s family’.
CIARAN RICHARD BROPHY, 23, of no fixed abode, also goes by the alias of ‘Burger boy’, was convicted of breaching a restraining order imposed by Oxford Crown Court on September 14, 2017 by going to Waverly Place on December 30. He was sent to prison for six weeks because ‘the offence is so serious and the defendant has flagrant disregard for court orders’. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £122 and £200 in court costs.
ALISON SARA MCKIERNAN, 43, of Saunders Road, Cowley, admitted being in possession of heroin, a Class A drug, on November 19 in Oxford as well as driving in a public place without third party insurance on Between Towns Road on the same day. She was fined £350 in total and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 as well as £150 in court costs. Her driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points and she must forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.
ANGELA CAMPANARI, 40, of Copse Lane, Oxford, admitted driving at 71mph in a 50mph zone on the M11 motorway in Chigwell between junction five and four on February 4, 2017. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. Her driving record was also endorsed with four penalty points.
RICHARD ELLIS CAPAL, 48, of no fixed abode, was convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words with the intent to cause that person to believe that immediate use of unlawful violence would be used against them at Oxford Railway Station on June 12. He also admitted stealing alcohol from Tesco on St Aldate's, assault by beating of a woman which was racially aggravated and then using religiously aggravated words on June 15. He was sent to prison for a total length of 36 weeks 'because he has a previous record and prolonged racist abuse to staff doing their job'. He must also pay a victim surcharge fee of £122.
