AN ARTIST'S exhibition has been inspired by the urban surroundings of New York.
The show, called City Limits, by Banbury artist Christine O'Sullivan at Oxford Castle's 03 gallery, features a collection of canvasses combining strong colours and lines reminiscent of the Big Apple's landscapes.
Previous exhibitions have been in venues such as Oxford's Said Business School, Chipping Norton's Theatre Gallery, and Banbury's Mill Arts Centre.
The exhibition opens today. Ms O'Sullivan said: "The elements that make up an urban landscape - grid sheet patterns, road markings, neon colours, all find their way into my paintings."
