Sisters out walking near RAF Brize Norton today think they have captured footage of the fabled 'Beast of Burford'.
April Millin, who shared the video with the Oxford Mail, said she and her sister Hannah were walking in Carterton near the perimeter of the Oxfordshire air base when her dog stopped to sniff.
She said: "I just so happened to look up through the trees and I saw what I thought was a black Labrador dog."

Ms Millin added she initially thought it was strange she couldn't see its owner but then realised it was no canine.
She explained the creature had a 'long tail' and the pair could see it's shoulder blades as it walked.
She added: "It stopped and looked at us before walking away through some bushes.
"I have a pet black cat but this was different. It was huge.

"It was far enough in the field for us to not be able to see a domestic cat.
"This was a lot bigger, we could see it's shiny black smooth looking coat.
"It happened so quickly and I had forgotten my phone so I asked my sister to film."
She said the video was 'not great' because her sister was holding her dog's lead and he kept pulling her away but she is convinced of what she saw.

Sharing the footage on her own social media, she added: "I know what a black cat looks like and I swear to god it was not a cat.
"It had a squarish face and was walking like a lion. I’ve never seen anything like this before."
This sighting is the latest in a long line of people going back to the 1990s seeing what they swear is a big cat in west and north Oxfordshire.
Dubbed 'the Beast of Burford', the creature has in the past been sighted near the village of Upper Arncott, close to Bicester.
In one of the most famous sightings, a suspected big cat was photographed in a field opposite the Masons Arms pub in Burford Road, Brize Norton, in 2005 - close to today's possible sighting.
More recently sightings were further south with boater Michael Grainger, 72, and his wife spotting two ‘black panthers’ in a field by the water at Culham Lock in October, 2018.
This prompted more readers to get in touch claiming they too had encountered a big cat.
Last month there were fears the Beast of Burford may be no more, however, after a driver saw a 'puma-sized cat' dead on the side of the A34.
