A DRIVER crashed off the A40 into trees and their car was 'so deeply buried' emergency services struggled to see it from the road.
A post yesterday on Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service's Facebook page shared images of the car, which had flipped onto its roof, among the undergrowth.
The post said: "On Wednesday fire engines from Rewley Road Fire Station and Slade Rd Fire Station to reports of a car having rolled over and ended up in the trees on the central reservation of the A40, with a person trapped inside."

It added: "When fire crews arrived at the scene, the car was so deeply buried in the undergrowth that it was not immediately obvious from the road.
"The driver had managed to get clear of the wreckage and was given a precautionary check at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust."
