Firefighters were called to deal with a blaze at a house in Rose Hill, Oxford, today.
Emergency services arrived at the house in Courtland Road at about noon.
The first floor and roof of the two-storey semi-detached house were ablaze.
Fire crews managed to put out the blaze before it spread to the neighbouring house. No-one was injured.
It is not yet known how the fire started.
