TALK show king Jeremy Kyle visited Oxford in June 2009 to sign copies of his new book 'Jeremy Kyle – I'm Only Being Honest'.
Despite the city's reputation for being academic and event snooty, punters queued up at Borders bookshop on Magdalen Street to meet the daytime TV star and get their books signed.
Pictured here getting her copy emblazoned is Corinne Fay of Worcester College, who was even wearing her ceremonial gown.

This picture was taken by our veteran photographer Antony Moore, and our reporter Andrew Ffrench (who we are happy to say is still with us) was on the scene to chat to fans.
Borders bookshop closed in December that same year, while the Jeremy Kyle show lasted another decade before it was cancelled in May 2019.
