A 16TH century hotel and restaurant has been ordered to pay more than £6,000 after leaving eggs off the ingredients list.
Bosses at Pack Taverns Ltd were at Oxford Magistrates Court on February 3 after admitting to flouting food regulations at The Bull Inn on Sheep Street, Charlbury.

Food regulations are in place to protect people with allergies and intolerances.
On April 13 they were caught selling a meal with eggs in without any clear labels.
Now they have been fined £3,000 and ordered to pay costs of £3,854 as well as a £170 victim surcharge fee.
