ALDI is selling groceries online for the first time ever to help vulnerable and self-isolating shoppers.
Starting today the German discount supermarket is offering hampers filled with food and essential products.
The parcels will contain 22 items including vegetables, tinned soup, rice, pasta and each will also include antibacterial handwash and a four-pack of toilet roll.
Aldi confirmed that the £24.99 hamper can only be ordered online and is therefore not available for customers in stores.

It is also restricted to one package per person.
Managing director for corporate responsibility at Aldi Fritz Walleczek said the boxes have been introduced to support the people 'most at risk' in the pandemic.
The scheme follows in the footsteps of both Morrisons and Marks & Spencer who have both launched similar initiatives to help cope with unprecedented demand during the coronavirus outbreak.
