Police block the slip road
A woman pedestrian was killed this afternoon after being in a collision with a car in Witney.
Paramedics were called to the westbound High Cogges slip road on the A40 at around 3.47pm.
The woman, thought to be in her late fifties or early sixties, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
Police have closed the road in both directions while the accident is investigated. It is expected to be closed off until at least 9pm.
