THIS was the chaotic scene outside the Tite Inn, Chadlington, on April 15, 2001.
As part of that year's Easter celebrations, children, adults and a small toy dog on wheels joined a frenetic Easter Eggs race down the road.
The competitors had started out in an orderly line, and each rolled their egg as hard as they could, but within seconds they were seized by the competitive spirit and leapt up to start chasing their challengers.
We especially like the grown man in the beige coat at the back who is clearly just about to throw his egg as far as he possibly can.
The egg rolling event was a massive hit and villagers in Chadlington carried on doing it each Easter for years to come.
