OXFORDSHIRE residents paused to recognise key workers on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.
At 8pm tonight isolated people all over the UK applauded NHS staff from their windows, balconies and doorsteps as part of the second nationwide 'Clap for Carers' campaign.

After the success of last Thursday's event, a second tribute was planned for today to salute key workers across multiple sectors.
NHS workers, carers, teachers, supermarket workers, cleaners and delivery drivers who are working tirelessly around the clock were applauded.
