DOCTORS, nurses and other NHS staff working at Oxford’s hospitals have been getting deliveries of free pizza and kebabs to keep them going during the coronavirus outbreak.
After bringing pizza to staff working in the Emergency Assessment Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital last week, manager Imran Rana of Exprizza & Desi Grill and Kani Kebab, both in Cowley Road, decided to extend the offer.
Mr Rana first chose the Renal Ward at the Churchill Hospital, in memory of his mother who died from kidney failure a year ago.

Pizza and kebab rolls from Kani Kebab were also delivered to the Warneford Hospital and to the Fullbrook Centre.
More than 60 NHS staff also received a free meal from Indian Dream in Didcot this weekend, thanks to a takeaway offer by the business.
Thai restaurant Hugomango in Abingdon is also offering free curry to NHS and emergency service staff for collection or delivery.
