A PENSIONER was left shaken and scared after 'unruly' children showered her with coughs and spat on her face.
The 78-year-old woman who wishes to remain anonymous was out for her daily stroll in Kidlington on Thursday afternoon when she was attacked by the boys racing on their bikes.
Her daughter Christina said that now her mother was 'terrified' to go out after the 'horrific' experience that left her fearing she had been infected with Covid-19.
She added: "My mother survived cancer two years ago and since the lockdown I have been encouraging her to go out every day for 30 minutes for her physical and mental health.

"Now she does not want to leave the house at all – she is just too scared.
"Some people will say it is just kids playing around but it is unacceptable and outrageous, especially in these times."
Thames Valley Police confirmed they were investigating the incident that happened on the junction between Stratford Road and South Avenue in Kidlington.
A spokesperson added: "We have also put on extra patrols in the area as part of the investigation and for reassurance purposes."
