Kathy Singer who was banned from classes after dying her hair green for charity, has been allowed back to lessons - because she has dyed her hair red.
The 15-year-old student at King Alfred's Community and Sports College, Wantage, decided to streak her hair green in aid of Children in Need.
But teachers told her the colour breached the school's dress code.
Kathy, from Churchward, Grove, has raised more than £200 for the charity. She re-dyed her hair at the weekend after a week of being forced to work alone in the library.
The school's policy allows for some dyeing of hair, but it is at its discretion.
She said: "It is nice to be back in lessons with people and knowing what I am meant to be doing, instead of being sat by myself."
The school refused to comment.
