GARDEN waste bin collections are being suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.
Oxford City Council has said it is stopping brown bin collections because it is responding to a national emergency and the move will allow staff to be redeployed to help keep essential services running.

The staff will be redeployed to help vulnerable people, take part in food distribution and support homeless people.
An increasing number of council and ODS staff are being affected by the coronavirus.
Domestic waste collections will continue and have risen with more people at home.
