A nursery school has been rated outstanding in an Ofsted inspection.
The Manor Preparatory School Nursery, in Faringdon Road, Shippon, got top marks in all categories following the inspection in September. Nursery head Pippa McConnell, pictured left, with Sarah Slade and pupils, said: "We were very pleased and it was actually a nice experience. I suppose that's why it went well."
The private nursery school currently has 27 three- and four-year-olds on the roll.
Inspector Mandy Gannon described the quality and standards of nursery education, the quality of teaching and learning, the partnership with parents and carers and the leadership and management of the nursery as outstanding. She said children's behaviour was "superb" and the nursery provided good support for children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
