A GROUP of wheelchair-bound dancers came together to rehearse a musical routine on December 9, 1986.
The Musical Chairs Formation Dance Team of eight disabled people was first formed in 1974.
They regularly performed in competitions and public displays wearing emerald green evening dresses and the men in shirts and black trousers.
Pictured is a rehearsal dance session held at the Rectory Centre, Rectors Road, St Clements, each week.
The group who are all pictured [from left, clockwise] consisted of Lionel Spicer, June Dalton, Mandy Fox, manager Tony Purbrick, Steve Monk, Jean Dyer, Jenny Woodbridge, Robby Gellatly and Ann Purbrick.
