FAST food businesses in the city will be thanking NHS staff for their hard work during the coronavirus outbreak today.
Jabeen Alam, manager of Exprizza & Desi Grill, has revealed the Cowley Road business will be delivering pizzas to Emergency Assessment Unit staff at the John Radcliffe Hospital at 8pm.
She said: "I think at times like this we want them to know they are doing an amazing job and are grateful for all the work they are involved with."
Fellow Cowley Road business Bodrum Kebabs Restaurants has also announced it will be offering free take away food for NHS workers today 'due to their toil in this difficult national situation'.

Both are to coincide with the Clap for our Carers appeal, which has been shared millions of times on social media.
Everyone that can is asked to clap at 8pm - whether it's in your garden, from a window, balcony or local park.
Oxford Hospitals Charity has also been supporting staff at the John Radcliffe by delivering care packs to teams filled with chocolates, lip balm and cereal bars.
The charity has also been organising meals such as pizzas for staff working long hours in areas such as Critical Care and microbiology.
