ANOTHER 665 people have tested positive for Covid-19, the government has said.
New figures released this afternoon show that across the UK 78,340 people have been tested for coronavirus.
Of those tests, 72,657 have been confirmed as negative and 5,683 are confirmed positive.
The government added that the number of deaths has now risen to 281, which is an increase of 48 from yesterday's tally of 233.

Yesterday, it was revealed that 5,018 people had tested positive for the virus, a spike of more than 1,000 cases on the previous day.
The cases for Oxfordshire currently total 44, and today's numbers will be released later.
