MORE than 5,000 patients across the country have now tested positive for coronavirus.
As of 9am today, 72,818 people have been tested in the UK for Covid-19.
Of those tests 67,800 were confirmed negative and 5,018 were confirmed positive.
As of 9am 233 patients in the UK who tested positive have sadly died.
The full breakdown, including figures for Oxfordshire, is expected to be released later tonight.
Yesterday, the confirmed number of cases stood at 3,983 positive tests, meaning there has been an extra 1,035 cases in 24 hours.
In Oxfordshire, the most recent figures report 40 confirmed cases.
