ONE by one pubs and restaurants across Oxfordshire are closing their doors as uncertainty reigns during the worsening Covid-19 outbreak.
The latest business to announce plans of imminent closure was The Fox Inn in Steventon.
Manager Sarah took to social media to alert loyal drinkers in Abingdon that the pub's last day will be Monday.

She said: " I am hoping this will be a temporary measure as the brewery have said I can move back in once the country is safe again.
"We will be open every night until then and we will run Mother’s Day Sunday lunch for those of you that have booked and still want to come."
While the Prime Minister urged people to avoid pubs, restaurants and social venues to prevent further spread of the virus, The Fox Inn revealed it will not cancel residents' planned events.

Even further, the pub reduced its draft beer to £3 a pint for Saturday.
The manager also revealed that kitchen staff are considering opening the pub for takeaways and food deliveries but a further announcement will be made.
Many hospitality industry workers hit back at the Prime Minister this week for the Government's official coronavirus guidance that has left businesses unable to claim insurance.
