A BID by the Thames Valley Farmers Market Co-operative to get consent for street signs promoting the monthly markets in Witney goes before today's meeting of West Oxfordshire District Council's lowlands planning sub-committee.
The council has already agreed for the signs to be used in Chipping and Charlbury, but Witney Town Council is objecting on the grounds that they amount to commercial fly-posting.
