The death toll in the UK of patients with coronavirus is up to 71.

This is an increase of 14 deaths on the previous figure, and all of those who died had underlying health conditions.

A statement from NHS England said: "A further 14 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) have died.

"Patients were aged between 93 and 45 years old and had underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed."

The number of confirmed cases in Oxfordshire has risen from 23 to 25.

The Prime Minister and chancellor led a press conference about Covid-19 this evening, announcing several measures including £300bn worth of loans for businesses.
