A WOMAN in her sixties is in hospital in a critical condition after being involved in a head on collision yesterday morning.
The crash happend at around 9.40am on Faringdon Road, Gozzard's Ford in Abingdon when a grey BMW car and a white Mercedes Sprinter van collided head on.
The woman who is in hospital was a passenger in the BMW.

Another passenger in the BMW and the driver, a woman in her sixties and a man in his seventies, were taken to hospital with minor injuries and have since been discharged.
The driver of the van, a man in his thirties, was not injured.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer Chris Weatherly of the Road Policing Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw this collision today.
“It was during the day at a relatively busy time, so we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.
“It would also be useful to speak to anyone who saw the manner of driving before the incident happened.
