The safety of pedestrians and pedal cyclists could be improved in Faringdon with proposed shared-use cycle tracks.
Oxfordshire County Council has proposed shared-use cycle tracks on Southampton Street and Berner’s Way.

The pedestrian and cycle way on Southampton Street will be located from the southern side of Ferndale Street, Southward on the footpath link to Southampton Street for approximately 21 meters.
The Berner’s Way cycle path will be on the footpath leading west from the western point of the road for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

Objections to the proposals and other representations can be made online by completing a questionnaire or in writing by quoting reference ‘JaC.12.6.207’ to Community Operations by April 10.
