A POLICE officer accused of behaving inappropriately towards his junior colleagues will face the heads of the police at a disciplinary hearing this week.
PC James Taylor, who was based at Reading police station, is currently suspended from duty while the investigation into the claims about him is carried out.
It is alleged that PC Taylor was 'inappropriate' towards female junior police officers during a two-year period between 2017 and 2019.
It is unknown what the specific details are, but if proven to be true he would have breached the 'Standard of Professional Behaviour' expected of a police officer by breaking the 'Authority, Respect and Courtesy' codes as well as the 'Discreditable Conduct' rule.
Thames Valley Police say it is so serious that he would have committed gross misconduct.
