THE INQUESTS of a woman who was murdered in a block of flats and a man who fell to his death from the top floor will be held this week.

Emily Goodman, 42, died on the night of September 23 at Foresters Tower in Wood Farm from neck injuries.

Oxford Mail:

Read her tributes: Ms Goodman was a 'strong and beautiful' grandma-to-be.

Rashid Hussain, 37, died the same night after falling from a 14th-floor window at the flats.

Oxford Mail:

Police launched a murder investigation after Ms Goodman was found and said it was not looking for anybody else.

At the inquest opening, in October, it was revealed how Ms Goodman died three hours after Mr Hussain and how she had not lived in the fourth-floor flat where she was found.

Their inquests will be held on Wednesday morning at 10am at Oxford Coroners Court.

Inquests are held when somebody has died from an unnatural cause, like murder.

Coroners are expected to answer four questions: who the person was, and when, how and where they came to their deaths.
