PANIC-BUYING shoppers are still stockpiling, despite government advice that it's unneccessary.
Shoppers have sent us photographs from inside supermarkets across Oxfordshire, blasting the 'selfish' actions of those buying multiple packets of medicine, toilet paper and baby wipes.
One has described Tesco Cowley this morning as 'carnage.'
Another said: "I honestly cant believe people can be soooo greedy with no thought for the next guy.
"The staff in there are doing an amazing job. Not one person wasn't busy pushing pallets of goods stocking shelves running around helping customers.
"Please if you consider panic buying, just understand you are part of what's causing and fueling the panic. Stop, you dont need all that extra, save your money let someone else have some."
It comes after shoppers were spotted waiting in a queue for Superdrug to open so they could stock up
Another said they overheard staff saying that extra staff had been drafted in today.
People are currently queueing down the aisles to pay, they added.
