A DRIVER has shared footage of the moment a coach crashed into the back of his stationary car on a busy Bicester road.
Craig Theobald, 35, from Bicester, said he was left with whiplash after the Heyfordian coach smashed into his one month-old Mercedes Benz on Oxford Road.
In his footage of the incident on February 25 from a camera installed in his rear window, the coach driver appears to be looking down at what Mr Theobald believes is a mobile phone.

He said: “I was just driving on my way to work and I was sat stationary at the traffic lights. You can see on the dashcam footage that he [the coach driver] was distracted by a mobile phone and drove into the back of me.
“Since that day its been hell for me.”
Mr Theobald said his car was written off and that he suffered from ‘severe whiplash’ and had to take time off work.
He added: “It’s causing me a lot of stress because I’m having to use my girlfriend’s car. I contacted Heyfordian and they said they don’t want to comment.
“They informed me about the driver being distressed but I don’t care about the driver, he shouldn’t have been doing what he was doing at the wheel.
“I feel that the company have been rubbish with the support I have been given.”

Mr Theobald said Heyfordian had left the problem in the hands of its insurance company, ERS, to deal with, which he said was ‘useless’.
He said he was given a hire car by his insurance company which Heyfordian was paying for, but said that with six hours notice, Heyfordian then cancelled the car, because there would be a pay-out, resulting in him having to use other means of transportation.
Heyfordian was asked what action was taken with regards to the coach driver involved in the crash, but said in a statement that it was a matter for its insurance company to deal with.
It said: “Our coach was involved in a minor collision in the town of Bicester. Our driver provided insurance details to the third party as is required by our Company Procedures.
“As for any allegations made against our driver or who is at fault, we are unable to comment further as the matter is being dealt with by our insurers.”
Mr Theobald said there were no passengers in the coach at the time of the crash.
