A PRIMARY school in Oxfordshire where children were sent home over fears they have been infected with coronavirus is staying opened.
Concerned parents were warned by headteacher Gemma Penny yesterday that several pupils attending Barley Hill Primary School in Thame will self-isolate after coming to contact with a family member who had travelled to an 'identified infected area'.
However, when contacted by the newspaper, one school worker revealed that 'of course lessons will continue as usual'.

One worried mother who wishes to remain anonymous contacted the Oxford Mail yesterday about the potential risk.
She said: "People need to be aware; I have several children in this school."
In an email to parents Ms Penny said that the school has informed the Department for Education of the risk, however, no further action will be taken at this point.
Several schools across the county where students had recently returned from trips to Italy closed in February for a deep-clean.
