An Oxfordshire 80s hair rock and metal band are hosting a charity fundraiser to help send a Didcot dance squad to compete in the Dance World Cup.
King Awesome, a UK 80s rock covers band will be performing at the Didcot Civic Hall on Saturday March 21 playing music from Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses and Aerosmith.

The event will help raise funds towards sending the Didcot based Bernadine Soul School of Dance to the Dance World Cup in Rome, from Monday June 29 to Saturday July 4.
The squad of 18 girls and one boy will be representing Team England at the global competition against 62 other countries, with their acrobatic routine.

The rock gig will help the dance squad cover the costs of the plane tickets to Rome.
Band member Mark Hamilton said: "It's always fun to be putting on a show, but even better when we can help these young dancers get to Rome."
