A ZEBRA crossing could be installed outside South Park in Oxford.
Oxfordshire County Council is consulting on plans to build the crossing on Morrell Avenue, close to the park entrance on Warneford Lane.
The pedestrian crossing would be next to a bus stop, near the mini roundabout at the top of Divinity Road and the children's play area at the park.

Consultation papers on the authority's website state: "It would be located approximately 10 metres southwest of the junction with Divinity Road, replacing the existing un-controlled crossing place.
"The crossing will include a new kerbed central island with accompanying tactile paving."
There is currently a small island in the middle of the road, but pedestrians have to nip across when there is no traffic and then wait for the road to clear in the other direction before getting to the other side.
Members of the public can view and comment on the plans until March 27, by visiting consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk.
