A BRAND spanking new old-fashioned tea room opened doors for dementia sufferers.
Stowford House Care Home in Shippon celebrated its new vintage cafe on Monday with Mayor of Abingdon Charlie Birks who cut the symbolic ribbon.
It was named Rose's Tea Room to commemorate the life of former resident of the home near Abingdon.

The ceremony was attended by her husband and family whose generous donation funded the cafe.
The new service will offer a place for people living with dementia and their carers to pop in for a coffee and chat.
Care home manager Sherrie Hume said: "Opening the vintage cafe will provide a supportive environment where people can come together to share experiences and advice and simply relax and have fun".
