THERE are now 85 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK.
The Department of Health and Social Care confirmed this afternoon as of 9am a total of 16,659 people have been tested for the virus with 85 positive.
This includes 32 new cases in England since yesterday.
Of these 29 had recently travelled to affected countries or picked it up from people known to have travelled from abroad.
But three more contracted the virus in the UK and it is still unknown where they got it from.
The government said all are being investigated and 'contact tracing has begun'.

It added because of the number of cases it would no longer be providing details about where each new case was found daily.
The department tweeted: "As of today, due to the number of new cases, we will no longer be tweeting information on the location of each new case.
"Instead, this information will be released centrally in a consolidated format online, once a week. We are working on this now and plan to share on Friday."
It comes after the Government released a four-point action plan to respond to Covid-19 yesterday.
