A 30-YEAR-OLD man is fighting for his life at the John Radcliffe Hospital after crashing into a telegraph pole.
He was driving a white Peugeot van on the A361 from the Burford direction coming into Chipping Norton when he crashed into a wall on the junction of Charlbury Road at around 9.27pm on Monday.
The car overturned and the driver was rushed to the JR with ‘very’ serious injuries and in a critical condition.

Investigating officer PC Naomi Hames of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, based in Bicester, said: “This appears to be a single-vehicle collision which has sadly left the driver of the van with very serious injuries.
“I am appealing to anybody that was driving in the area at around 9.45pm on Monday who believes that they witnessed this collision to please contact police.”
