A TEENAGER charged with assaulting three nurses at the John Radcliffe Hospital is set to appear at court.

He also faces one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour as well as three further counts which all allege similar public order offences but which were racially aggravated.

All of the offences are alleged to have taken place at the Headley Way hospital on January 2 this year.
Prosecutors claim that all three victims of the assaults were NHS nurses.
Tassell has not yet entered a plea to any of the offences he faces.
He will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court today where a plea is expected to be entered to the seven counts.

Most of the offences are 'either-way' matters which means they can be heard either before magistrates or at Oxford Crown Court.
Depending on his plea magistrates will decide where the case should be heard.
