LANES on the M40 are closed following a 'serious' crash on the road this afternoon just outside the county.
The incident happened between Junction 4 and 5 northbound at Cadmore End and Highways England says the collision is expected to clear between 5pm and 5.15pm today.
Three people have been taken to hospital with injuries.
Two lanes are closed from Junction 5 and Oxford Bus Company tweeted that its coaches will be diverted via the A40.
Due to a serious incident on the M40 between Junction 4 and 5, at present the M40 Oxford bound is closed, consequently we are diverting coaches VIA the A40.

Emergency services are at the scene and drivers say they have been stuck in the queues for more than 30 minutes.
