EVERY Oxfordshire firefighter received a bottle of beer to thank them for their hard work during this summer's flooding.
Hook Norton Brewery presented Oxfordshire's Chief Fire Officer, John Parry, front, left, with 600 bottles of Inspired ale, at Rewley Road fire station, in Oxford.
James Clarke, front, right, managing director of the north Oxforshire brewery, said: "Having two retained firefighters on our staff, we were very aware of the hard work being carried out across the county to help those who were affected by the flood water.
"It seems appropriate, therefore, to make a small gift to each of Oxfordshire's firefighters in recognition of this hard work."
Mr Parry, said: "I'm sure the fire crews will all enjoy their beer when off-duty."
