POLICE are on the scene of a serious collision on the A415 Standlake Road, near Witney.
Both sides of the road are closed between Ducklington and Cokethorpe School.
It is understood that a car and lorry were involved in the crash.
Thames Valley Police said the closure is likely to remain in place for some time and has urged people to avoid the area.

The road is closed between the junctions of the B4449 and the turn-off for Ducklington.
South and Central Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 11.29am.
Two ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer and the Thames Valley Air Ambulance were sent.
Firefighters were also seen helping with the emergency response.
