Prisoners at Bullingdon have been given the all-clear after being tested for coronavirus, reports say.
The Press Association reported that the prisoners had tested negative for the virus - three days after the prison, near Bicester, was put on lockdown.
The man thought to be at the centre of the prison's suspected outbreak was understood to have been extradited from Thailand on drugs charges.
The Thai Department of Corrections yesterday said 31-year-old Rumble was the prisoner involved.
But reports later confirmed that nobody at the prison had tested positive for the virus, which has so far claimed more than 1,000 lives.
So far in Thailand, there have been 33 confirmed cases of the virus, with the country the second after China to declare infections.
Mr Rumble reportedly collapsed in his cell at HMP Bullingdon on Monday.
A second inmate developed flu-like symptoms and a third was also being tested for the illness.
Public Health England, however, said it could not comment on the claims.
HMP Bullingdon has not responded to requests for a comment.
Care UK, which runs Bullingdon’s healthcare, similarly declined to comment and referred the Mail to Public Health England.
Charlotte Yeates claimed she was told on Tuesday morning, via a prisoner, that inmates at Bullingdon were being tested.
She added that one of the prison’s wings had been closed. Rumble is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on February 20.
