One concerned Oxford Mail reader sent us this video from Rose Hill after spotting a crane swinging in the wind this evening.
Cranes have caused concern elsewhere in the country today, with a building site crane spinning in Worthing earlier.
Sussex Police said they had received several reports about the whirling crane but confirmed there is no cause for concern as it is designed to move with the wind.
Many cranes are built to move in periods of high winds, rather than staying rigid, as it reduces the risk of them being blown over.
No authorities in Oxfordshire have commented yet on this crane.
An amber weather warning for wind and yellow warning for rain currently remain in place for Oxford.
