AMBULANCES were called to a 'serious medical emergency' in Oxford this morning.
South Central Ambulance Service was called at 11.50am to an underpass under Abingdon Road where the person who needed care was.

Thames Valley Police officers were in attendance as it is routine to do so when such incidents happen in a public place.
The person was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital.
A witness said altogether they saw two ambulances, an air ambulance, and a two-car police escort.
